Buy a Hammer in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie

How The Home Depot Canada Foundation is supporting affordable housing and building strong communities for Canadians in need with thousands of “Paper Hammers”

Did you know that you can improve our community using only a paper hammer? It’s true. All it takes is encouraging your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to buy a $2 “Paper Hammer” at the Airdrie, The Home Depot store between May 30 and July 3.

This year, as part of The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s annual Buy a Hammer, Build Our Community campaign, The Home Depot Airdrie store is raising funds to support Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie.

Thank you Airdrie for supporting our garage sale today at our Allen street location. Over $600 dollars was raised today! The funds will help our BGCA support child and youth programs. Special thanks to the community members who donated items for sale. Airdrie is a wonderful community that gets behind supporting our kids!

BGCA Annual General Meeting 2013

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie and get involved in supporting our young people. Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie is happy to announce that our WestJet

fundraiser was a success! Dan McNeil, an Airdrie Resident, is the

winner of 2 round trip tickets anywhere WestJet Flys. On behalf of

Boys and Girls Club, board, staff, volunteers and members, thank

you for your continued support to BGCA programs and services.

BGCA proudly raised a total of $5510.00 with all proceeds going

directly back into our club.

BGCA would like to extend a thank you to Telus for their substantial donation of $150,000 to help fund “The Studio” in our centre facility. Over the summer “The Studio” will get more electronics for youth and a recording studio! Without Telus, this dream would not be possible. Thank you!

Canadian Tire Jumpstart® was created to help give kids a sporting chance. The charitable program helps kids participate in organized sport and recreation by covering the costs of registration, equipment and/or transportation. To date, we have given more than 330,000 kids across Canada the chance to play.
